Northam WWTP Dredging & Dewatering

Situation:

The client's sedimentation pond was nearing full capacity. To improve treatment performance of the WWTP, Water Corporation engaged Dredging Solutions to undertake an online desludging project.

Our Approach:

Dredging Solutions removed 750 dry tonnes of sludge from within the pond using our remote controlled FLUMP auger suction dredge and CRS Envitube® geotextile dewatering containers.

Result:

The client's sedimentation pond was returned to its functional state within the nominated timeframe. Once the dewatered sludge had reached our target moisture level, it was transported offsite for land application and soil conditioning.
