Dredging Solutions is a privately owned and operated company providing dredging and dewatering services Australia wide for over 30 years. We lead the way in providing solutions to sludge and sediment challenges across municipal, marine, mining and industrial sites of all shapes and sizes. We undertake all our own transport utilising flat top, drop deck and tipper trailers. 

About The Role

We are seeking an HC/MC driver to deliver a range of equipment to our projects, Australia wide. The position is Sydney based with mix of local work, primarily in tipper trailers, coupled with some interstate project work, these having rotating rosters of 3 weeks on, 1 off.

Part time or casual positions are available, with the opportunity to move to full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload equipment onto trucks and trailers

  • Operate vehicles to deliver equipment to site

  • Complete all required paperwork and comply with daily pre-starts and checks on a tablet-based system

  • Ensure compliance with axle weights

  • Present a professional image to customers and colleagues

  • Comply with all WH&S requirements

About You

  • Valid HC or MC drivers’ licence

  • 18 speed road ranger experience

  • Clean, verifiable driving record

  • Construction white card

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to communicate with internal and external parties in a respectful manner

  • Punctual, honest and reliable

  • Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn

  • Sufficient internet access and computer skills to complete online inductions

  • Willingness to undergo medical testing and drug and alcohol screening when required

Field Staff

Dredging Solutions has vacancies for multi skilled, experienced dredge operators. Our dredging operation includes several different equipment configurations ranging from remote controlled 4” units to marine 8 & 10” dredges.

We require willing and able operators with mechanical aptitude who can demonstrate a successful employment history backed up with solids references. Ability to travel for work within Australia is essential along with mine sector mentality.
